PROCESS
PROC ESS
The Financial Aid Process
01. Apply for Aid
Creativity and innovation to challenge the status quo will affect what and how we teach and the intellectual ambitions of the campus itself.
02. Review
Social engagement should orient students’ academic experiences to help them become critically engaged citizens, dedicated to solving problems.
03. Make Your Deposit
GTC commitment to student success, important scholarship and creative activity, and public service sets it apart from other colleges.
Types of Aid
Scholarships
The GTC awards scholarships based on academic merit and resonance with our mission, and third-party scholarships provide another way to fund your education.
Grants
Your FAFSA will determine what grants you qualify for—both from The GTC and from federal and state government. Grants are need-based and do not need to be repaid.
Loans
Many students have used federal and private loans to fund a quality education that would otherwise be out of reach. Students far outpace the national loan repayment rate.
